My machine won't turn off!Updated 6 months ago

If your machine won’t turn off, it’s likely due to one of two reasons:

1. Too much pressure might’ve been put on the trigger, causing it to stick in an engaged position. To solve this, use a Phillips head screwdriver to turn the handle screw just a little (about 180 degrees). This should release any pressure and allow the trigger to work again.

2. The grounding bar, attached to the upper machine bar on both the AK-I and AK-II machines and DUO machines, might have become misaligned. Every time the upper square bearing moves into the back position, it must come in contact with the grounding bar. To fix this, simply rotate the grounding bar back into its original position, perpendicular to the machine, and tighten the grounding bar bolt

It’s also possible that the yellow grounding wire (on AK-I and AK-II machines only) has become disconnected. If so, this will need to be soldered back in place. Contact [email protected] for assistance.
